Made to be the last pan you buy

The story behind Ashbury Kitchen, and why we cook on titanium.

It started with a flaking pan

Like most households, we'd been through more non-stick pans than we could count. Each one started well, then scratched, then began to shed its coating into dinner. We bought organic, we read labels, and we were still cooking on surfaces we didn't trust.

So we went looking for something better. Stainless steel needed too much oil. Cast iron was heavy and hungry for attention. Ceramic chipped within a year. The answer turned out to be a metal that surgeons and engineers had relied on for decades: titanium.

The hard way, on purpose

Titanium is famously difficult to work. It's tough, it resists shaping, and it costs more than the materials most cookware is made from. That's exactly why so few brands use it.

We spent months with specialist makers refining every piece: the weight of a pan in the hand, the balance of a spatula, the edge of a board. Nothing is coated to hide a cheaper metal underneath. It's titanium all the way through, finished by people who care how it feels on a Tuesday night as much as on Christmas Day.

We didn't set out to make another pan. We set out to make the last one. Something you can pass down, still safe, still flawless, still cooking the Sunday roast in thirty years.

The Ashbury Kitchen team

Why we exist

Our mission

To make kitchenware so safe and so durable you never have to think about it again.

We start every product with one question: would we cook for our own families on it? If the answer isn't an immediate yes, it doesn't leave the workshop. That means solid titanium, no coatings, no shortcuts and nothing added simply to hit a lower price. When you pick up an Ashbury pan, the only thing you should be thinking about is what's for dinner.

Our vision

A UK where the best pan you own is the last one you buy.

Every year, countless pans end up in landfill, most of them because a coating failed. We want to break that cycle. We picture kitchens where the tools on the hob are safe for every member of the family, where cookware is handed down rather than thrown out, and where buying well once replaces buying cheaply again and again.

What we stand for

Health first

Nothing between your food and the metal.

No PFAS, no PTFE and no coatings of any kind. If we wouldn't want it in our own food, it isn't in our products.

Built to last

Made for decades, not seasons.

Titanium doesn't rust, warp or wear through. Look after it and it will serve your kitchen for decades.

Less waste

Fewer replacements, lighter landfill.

A pan that lasts a lifetime is the most sustainable pan there is. Titanium is also fully recyclable without any loss in quality.
